A ring bearing the symbol of the Eye which from the Maghreb to India, and since the most ancient antiquity, was worn as an amulet against the evil eye. In the European visual culture, it also evokes divine wisdom and clairvoyance. Generally surrounded by rays of light, it is then called the Eye of Providence or All-Seeing Eye.
